Form add-on for Seamless Ads

To gain leads for your campaign, you have the possibility to enable a form to your campaign. In these forms an advertiser  can ask the user to fill in some information.

To enable the form feature, you should switch on the toggle as this toggle is switched off by default.
After you have enbled the toggle you can choose from 8 form options.

There are 8 forms:

- Name and email
- Name and email and response

- Name and address
- Name and phone number

- Phone number

- Name email and address

- Name, email, telephone  and postal code

- Business contact form

After selecting the right form, you should start to fill in all the fields that are needed.
- Image: a separate image can be uploaded for forms
- Body text: to give the user more information about a service or any other information
- Privacy policy:  the user should agree with the advertisers privacy policy

- Visit website button link: if needed you can enter a different URL to a landingpage

How to receive your data?


Note: the quick preview on ad overview or when sharing a preview link is not yet able to show the lead form.
When editing your ad you can see how your lead form looks like.



There are three ways to receive your data.


1. Email

Select email option in the editor when setting up your lead form.
Please fill out the email address of the person who should receive the data.
The data will delivered to this email inbox as soon the user has filled out his details and submitted it.


2. Hubspot

To receive your data via Hubspot, we will need a Hubspot account ID and a Hubspot form ID


Please follow the next steps in Hubspot to get these ID's

  1. Go to your Hubspot account
  2. Navigate to "Marketing" folder
  3. Via dropdown go to forms/formulieren
  4. Select: Create a new form
  5. When creating your form you should select or create the fields that correspond to your briefed form version.

  6. Select New property --> this is only needed for the name field
  7. Select single line text


  8. Create a new property
    • Object type: new contact
    • Group: Contact information
    • Label: Full name
    • Filed type: Single line text
    • Property visibility: Show in forms and pop-up forms should be both selected
  9. Continue setting up the form. Use the predefined Hubspot properties you can find
  10. Publish and shore your form
  11. Go to embed code
  12. Copy paste portal ID and form ID to Ad studio



3. Zapier

To receive your data via Zapier, we will need a Zapier account ID and a Zapier webhook ID


Please follow the next steps in Zapier to get these ID's

  1. Got to your Zapier account
  2. Go to create ZAP
  3. Select Trigger
  4. Choose Trigger Webhook
  5. Configure the trigger webhook
  6. Go to App & Event
    Event required - Catch hook
  7. Go to Test
  8. Copy paste Account ID and Webhook ID to Ad studio
  9.  Test the webhook using dummy data. More information about using webhooks can be found here.
  10. Configure Zap action
  11. Look for your desired destination
  12. Set up the required event as wanted

Additional:

When setting up the zap, you could modify/format the input coming from the trigger. This would be according to your own (advertiser) preferences and best in correspondence to the destination (action chosen).Use cases: Split name into first and last name. Transform timestamps into date.
