What happens if my dynamic feed contains an error?

If an item in the feed features an unsupported image dimension or misses a required attribute, the creative will automatically fallback to your configured asset values within the Default ad.

Can I see an ad preview to check if the feed is configured correctly?

This is not yet possible whithin the platform, please contact support to ask for an ad preview. 

Why is my product text cutting off mid-word?

Verify character limits in the Feed specs or check the active alert panels inside Channable. Our ad templates strictly truncate strings that exceed formatting boundaries without trailing indicators (...). Refining your dynamic values into punchier, shorter copy will resolve this behavior.

Can I link an XML feed or a Google Spreadsheet?

During the current beta phase, we exclusively process JSON assets. Core native ingestion formats for XML structures and Google Spreadsheets are currently under development on our product roadmap for H2 2026.

Can I see the results per feed item?

Currently not. We only have the aggregated campaign- or ad performance in the platform.

Where can I upload the feed? 

It should be visible while creating a new Seamless ad in the Ad studio. It won’t show with a duplicated- or while editing an existing Seamless ad. Please contact support if you don’t have the option to add the link.

How often can the feed be updated?

To guarantee optimal page loading speeds on our network and prevent server overload, we cache the feed for 5 minutes. This means that the DSA system fetches the feed fresh every 5 minutes. Please keep this in mind when pushing real-time price updates or instant inventory changes. Besides that, the feed can be updated as many times as necessary. 

I don’t see my price in the ads. What’s wrong? 

Currently both fields [price] and [sale price] are not supported. Please use [promo] instead. Promo can be used to display both the price, promo or combination of both (e.g. Now € 19,99)
